    • Way too early for a poet, on the morning of 13th of November 2015, Steve Larkin was invited into the studio of BBC Oxford to be presented with a subject to write a poem about in a short space of time. The poem was to be presented live on air.

You are unlikely to experience what Steve Larkin has to offer through the written word. The advice continues to be "see him live before he dies"!

Steve Larkin's work is informed by a belief in the value of the oral form of poetry.

His work makes extensive use of oratory, musical and dramatic tools to create art that aims to be visceral, entertaining and inspiring.

He has for many years restricted his artistic output to the stage, believing that written versions of the work that he has developed over many years would denigrate the craft which has produced sophisticated poetic performances that can be appreciated in the immediate environment for which they were created.
